Charities and Fundraising
In 2009 our nominated charity is the Beacon of Hope.
This charity provides immediate comfort and on-going practical and nursing support to people with terminal and life limiting illness within Ceredigion.
The dedicated staff and volunteers work in the community to enable people to live the best quality of life in the time they have left.
Family Fun Day
On June 6th A family fun day was held at the Falcondale Mansion Hotel, with a lot of events and activities happening. Thank you to all the volunteers from Beacon of Hope for arranging this event and helping throughout the day. Financially it was a very successful afternoon and £1,500 was raised towards the Hospice at Home and other services offered to the people of Ceredigion who are terminally ill.
Parachute Jump
On April 19th Matthew Jones (Banqueting Manager) took part in a parachute jump. We are greatful that he returned to work with no broken bones. Thanks to Matthew and the hotels hard work in raising over £1,000 for Beacon of Hope.
